• Content Refers to any case law, summaries, documentation, or other information provided by The Application.

2.1 LLM - AI model used by application

Please note that the application uses Retrieval Augmentation with LLM artificial intelligence language model created for general informational purposes only. The responses provided by LLM are based on its programming and access to a vast corpus of textual data, and should not be taken as professional advice or as a substitute for consulting a qualified expert. Theaijurist would not be responsible for any action/s taken or not taken based on the information provided. Additionally, Theaijurist may not always provide accurate or complete answers, and may occasionally generate inappropriate or incorrect responses due to the nature of its training data. Use of Theaijurist is entirely at the user's own risk.

2.2 Subscription Plan and Metered Usage

The AI Jurist reserves the right to suspend a user account if the usage of AI-based searches and other AI services exceeds a predetermined monthly limit of LLM tokens associated with the user's subscription plan. In such cases, the user will be considered to have exceeded their subscription plan limits.

At its discretion, The AI Jurist may charge the user for any additional usage on a pay-as-you-go basis. Users will be notified of any charges incurred due to exceeding their subscription limits, and payment will be processed according to the terms outlined in this agreement.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Eligibility

What you can do. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may access and use our Services. In using our Services, you must comply with all applicable laws as well as our Sharing & Publication Policy⁠, Usage Policies⁠, and any other documentation, guidelines, or policies we make available to you.

The Application is intended for professional use by legal practitioners, law firms, and related professionals. By using The Application, you confirm that you are:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to enter into a binding agreement with the Company.

3.2 Account Creation

Users are required to create an account to access The Application. Users must:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
• Maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials.
• Ensure the security of the OTP (One-Time Password) used during the signup process by not sharing it with others.
• Use devices with secure connections when accessing the OTP to prevent unauthorized access or interception.
• Notify the Company immediately in case of unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• If you create an account or use the Services on behalf of another person or entity, you must have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

3.3 Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Use The Application for unlawful or unethical purposes.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of The Application.
• Share login credentials with unauthorized individuals or entities.
• Upload malicious or illegal content to The Application.
• Click on any unverified links claiming to originate from the Company without confirming their authenticity.
• Share personal or sensitive information (e.g., financial data or passwords) via unofficial communication channels.
• Submit queries, feedback, or content that promotes racism, terrorism, religious intolerance, or cultural insensitivity, or gender bias, or that contains remarks likely to harm or offend others.
• Neglect their individual responsibility for maintaining the security of their information, including compliance with organizational information security policies and best practices.
• Use our Services in a way that infringes, misappropriates or violates anyone’s rights.Modify, copy, lease, sell or distribute any of our Services.Attempt to or assist anyone to reverse engineer, decompile or discover the source code or underlying components of our Services, including our models, algorithms, or systems (except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law). Automatically or programmatically extract data or Output (defined below). Represent that Output was human-generated when it was not. Interfere with or disrupt our Services, including circumvent any rate limits or restrictions or bypass any protective measures or safety mitigations we put on our Services.

The Company will not be responsible for any phishing scams, social engineering attacks, or fraudulent activities caused by the User’s negligence in adhering to this policy.

4. Data Privacy and Security

4.1 Data Collection

The Application collects and processes the following data:

• Queries and uploaded files for processing.
• Usage metrics for improving application functionality and Token used of LLM models.
• Feedback provided by the User will be analyzed to improve the Application’s services, develop new features, and enhance user experience. This feedback may also be anonymized and aggregated to inform broader service improvements.

4.2 Data Storage

• All data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption protocols.
• Uploaded files and query data are stored temporarily and deleted after a defined retention period (e.g., 30 days which may vary at Company’s discretion). Data will be deleted after the specified retention period or upon user request, subject to applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
• User chat history is retained based on the subscription plan.
• Subscription-related data will be retained as long as the subscription is active, or for a reasonable period after account termination to comply with legal obligations.

4.3 Confidentiality

The Company ensures that all data uploaded by the User, including sensitive legal documents, is treated as confidential and is not shared with third parties, except as required by law. Confidentiality is maintained through:

The Theaijurist and its logos are trademarks of The Theaijurist and its affiliated companies. Users are not permitted to use The Theaijurist trademarks without prior written consent from the Company. The fair use of these trademarks includes referencing them in an accurate and non-misleading manner. Users must refrain from any misuse or modification of these trademarks, and the Company reserves the right to take legal action against unauthorized use.

6. License and Site Access

The Theaijurist grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site, subject to these Terms. This site and any portion thereof may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, downloaded, visited, or otherwise exploited for any personal commercial purposes without the express written consent of The Theaijurist. 7. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using our services, including feedback. The Theaijurist makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, or materials included on this site. You expressly agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk.

• The Theaijurist does not guarantee the accuracy or applicability of content generated by the Application. Users are responsible for verifying the information before use.
• The Theaijurist disclaims liability for damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated outputs or third-party content accessed through the Application.
• We are using commercially avaialble LLM models. Given the probabilistic nature of machine learning, use of our Services may, in some situations, result in Output that does not accurately reflect real people, places, or facts.
• When you use our Services you understand and agree:
• Output may not always be accurate. You should not rely on Output from our Services as a sole source of truth or factual information, or as a substitute for professional advice.
• You must evaluate Output for accuracy and appropriateness for your use case, including using human review as appropriate, before using or sharing Output from the Services.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in Karachi The principal place where Theaijurist operates. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through mandatory arbitration in accordance with the rules of the jurisdiction.

10. Service Interruptions and Downtime

The Company reserves the right to suspend or discontinue The Application, temporarily or permanently, for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. Users will be notified in advance, where feasible, and any active subscriptions will be adjusted accordingly. While the Company strives to minimize disruptions, it is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from service interruptions.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

Cancellation. You can cancel your paid subscription at any time. Payments are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Changes. We may change our prices from time to time. If we increase our subscription prices, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and any price increase will take effect on your next renewal so that you can cancel if you do not agree to the price increase.

The Company may suspend accounts if:

The Company shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, war, labor disputes, power outages, and internet or telecommunication failures. In such events, the Company will make reasonable efforts to restore services as soon as feasible.
